UV Protection Clear
At 89 % light transmission this film is practically impossible to spot once fitted — the display stays as bright and colour-true as it would be without it. It has exactly one job: to take away the radiation that makes colours fade.
No metal, no tint — a UV absorber in the polyester filters out > 99 % of radiation below 380 nm. Material thickness 2 mil.
Museums, galleries, jewellers, fashion shops, pharmacies, showrooms — anywhere goods are on display and still have to remain clearly visible.
At 15 % TSER this film barely lowers the room temperature noticeably, and at 2 % glare reduction it cuts glare practically not at all. If you need both, reach for the R Series or combine the two films on different sides of the façade.
Fading is caused in part by visible light and heat as well. Over 99 % UV rejection slows the process markedly but does not stop it entirely — an expectation worth raising openly during the consultation.
